GEORGE J. WALOWICH

GEORGE J. WALOWICH, 90, died Sunday, July 26, 2015, at his home surrounded by family. Born April 16, 1925 in, South Fork, Pa., he was the son of the late Andrew and Amelia Walo-wich. George worked at Magnavox for 23 years and was a greeter at Walmart for 17 years. He was an Army veteran and a member of former American Legion Post 82. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Walowich; family, Darlene (John) Polk, Barb (Mike) Schott, John Walowich, and Christine Kreider; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Ed; a granddaughter; a great-grandson; and one sister. Service is 1 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior to service.
