HARVEY PARKER Obituary

HARVEY PARKER, 79, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, in Fort Wayne. Born in Pemberton, W.Va., Harvey served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force for 25 years. Later, he worked as a Quality Control Manager with Magnavox for 25 years, and most recently he worked with the American Red Cross for eight years. Harvey was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where he served as an usher. Surviving are his wife, Marcianna Parker of Fort Wayne; children, Quincy Parker, Roselyn Parker, Kimberly Parker, Cynthia Parker, Brandon Parker, Millicent Parker, and Ammarie Parker; three grandchildren, Colin, Logan, and Alaja; brothers, Floyd (Mannie) Parker, Odie Parker, and Donald (Norma) Parker; and sister, Christine (Melvin) Green. He was preceded in death by his parents, Addie and Estella Mae Parker; two brothers and one sister. Service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at Zion Lutheran Church, 2313 S. Hanna St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road.
