Ide Ostrognai Obituary

IDE L. OSTROGNAI, 88, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Columbus, Ohio, she was a homemaker and was a member of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church. " She was a kind, loving woman who devoted herself to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren." Survivors include her husband, Allen Gilbert Ostrognai of Fort Wayne; sons, James A. (Joann) and Thomas Ostrognai; daughter, Nancy I. (Charles Frohman) Ostrognai of Iowa City, Iowa; grandchildren, James W. "Jim" (Dr. Chandra Ostrognai) of Zionsville, Julia I. "Julie" (Marco Ray) of Indianapolis, Ty F. (Luz Piedad) Ostrognai of Fort Wayne, Joy A. (Tony) Weber of Fort Wayne and David Frohman of Iowa City, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Lillian Ray of Indianapolis, Rylan Ostrognai and Kyson Ostrognai, both of Zionsville; and sister, Barbara Soto of Bull Head City, Ariz. She was preceded in death by sister, Elizabeth Cummins. Service is 2 p.m. Monday at Lutheran Home Chapel, 6701 S. Anthony Blvd. with calling one hour prior. Rev. David Greeble officiating. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue. Memorials to American Alzheimer's Association or the Lutheran Home.

TO THOMAS AND FAMILY, EVEN THOUGH I NEVER KNEW YOUR MOM. I KNOW WHAT IT 'S LIKE ,FOR MINES IS GONE TOO!HOLD YOUR HEADS HIGH FOR I'M SURE SHE WOULD HAVE WANTED THAT! BELIEVE THAT SHE IS WITH THE LORD. HER SPIRIT WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU. I ONCE RENTED FROM TOM.I HAVE ALL OF YOU IN MY PRAYERS.
