Jack Bowser Obituary

JACK STUART BOWSER, 74, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at his residence. Born Feb. 11, 1931, in Auburn, he was maintenance surpervisor for Vulcraft and also worked for his father, at Roy I. Bowser Heating & Plumbing. He attended Culver Military Academy and was a member of the Black Horse Troop and Waynedale United Methodist Church. He was a Korean Conflict Era Navy Veteran, honorably discharged in 1950. Survived by his wife, Sharon Bowser; son, Kim (Penny) Bowser of Indianapolis; daughter, Kitty (Maurice) Smith of Fort Wayne; and sister, Joanne (Leonard) Baum of Tampa, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy I. and Catherine (Kinsey) Bowser; and sister, April Dawn Davis. Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Waynedale United Methodist Church, 2501 Church St., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Mike Harris officiating. Calling is also from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Graveside service is 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Alton Cemetery, St. Joe, Ind. Memorials to Parkview Home Health & Hospice.
