I'm very sorry to learn of Jack's passing through the Naples Daily News. We didn't realize Jack lived here in Naples, which has been our home for 15 years. I grew up two doors north of Jack and Barb, but I recall both of them being so very friendly, especially to my mother and father. I know my parents were friends of Barbara's mother and father. My parents lived at 4631 Old Mill Road from 1938 - 1978. Please accept our deepest sympathy to the entire Laurie family in your bereavement. Jack, RIP.

Great memories of the Laurie family! The Old Mill neighborhood (including the Graham's before the Laurie's) was a wonderful group of sharing, kind neighbors. Wish everyone could have this kind of neighborhood to grow up in. Thanks Jack! Loved the donuts and the friendship!

From about 1957 though 1963, Jack, Barb and their boys were my neighbors on Old Mill Road in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Jack was always happy and I would say a good guy and friend to my family. His driveway was very close to our house and once in a while, Jack would go out for Donuts in the morning and drop off a sack at our house while we were at the breakfast table. As a kid, this was a warm and fuzzy memory.
Jack came to my mother's funeral, I wish I were near Fort Wayne to return his gesture. It was a shame to hear of Jack's passing. Wish I could be there for his family

I didn't know Jack but as I was reading my Mom's obituary today I read Jack's and it turns out he lived in my great grandfathers home in Ft. Wayne, IN. Amazing.

Dear John, Anne, and family, My sincere sympathy to you on the loss of your dad. He was so well known in the community for his great business and quality workmanship, which you have continued to his great pride. Bless his having enjoyed so many years of life and that hard-earned "sun filled" time in Naples. Glad he was able to spend these last years close to you and your family.
