Jared Scott Huth

Jared Scott Huth, 33, was taken from us too soon in a tragic car accident on July 26, 2025, in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the beloved son of Scott (Tara Hill) Huth and Pamela (Brian) Ripke. Jared worked as a sales engineer at Sweetwater and was a talented lampworker and guitar player. He had a lifelong love of roller coasters, fast cars - especially BMWs, and creating intricate builds with Legos. Known for his quick wit and infectious laughter, he brought joy to all who knew him. His favorite moments were spent with family, especially his cherished wife and son. He is survived by his loving wife, Piper Huth; son, River Michael; sister, Carly Huth; nieces, Everly and Palmer; paternal grandparents, John and Karen Huth; and maternal grandparents, Michael and Carol Martin. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Additional calling will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, to be used for the care and future of his son, River or Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes (Formerly JDRF).
