Jerry George Webber

1933 - 2023

Jerry George Webber, 90, of Spencerville, Ind., passed away on December 18, 2023, He was born April 27, 1933 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Schloss E. and Anna Pauline (nee Atha) Webber. A graduate of Central High School, he would wed the love of his life, Carole Jimison on March 21, 1953. Jerry spent his career as a Teamster's truck driver; he loved life, could repair just about anything and shared his gift with others. He and Carole enjoyed winters in Florida for thirty years, summers at their lake cottage for over forty years but cherished time spent with family & friends the most.

Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of seventy years, Carole; children, Sheryl Webber, Jerry (Tina) Webber, and Renee (Brian) Meeks; grandkids, Park Adam Payne, Tiffany (Joe) Zubeck , Heather (Troy) McKee, Jerry (Marcia) Webber, Chad (Katie) Meeks, Sarah (Tim) Hinman, and Roy (Catie) Meeks; great-grandkids, Tanner (Jerika) Minnich , Tyler (Hannah Wilson) Minnich, Isabella Rody, Madalynn McKee, Reagan Webber, Taylor Webber, Blake Webber, Tenley Zubeck, Wesley Zubeck, Brantley Zubeck, Baby Zubeck, Torsten Hinman, Gracie Meeks, Maximus Meeks, Maverick Meeks, Mackenzie Meeks, and Jack Meeks; and great-great granddaughter, Rylan Louise Minnich. He was preceded in death by his great-grandchild, Riley Zubeck. Funeral Service is 11:30 am Monday, January 15 at Highland Park Cemetery, 2403 E. Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne with calling ninety minutes prior. Interment at Highland Park Cemetery.
