"Bill" Wyatt, her husband of 56 years. Jo Ann and Bill married in 1964. They soon moved to Los Angeles, the first of many moves and travels throughout Jo Ann's lifetime. Jo Ann and Bill moved to Richmond, Ind., where their children were born. Jo Ann and her family relocated to the United Kingdom for several years before settling in Fort Wayne. She loved frequent visits to her children and grandchildren in South Carolina, Colorado and Tennessee. Jo Ann was passionate about gardening, baking for others, getting to know new people, and daily walks. She had a deep appreciation for simple elegance. She spoke frequently of her love for flora and fauna. Jo Ann is survived by her children, Matthew (Ben), Elizabeth and Katharine (JD); grandchildren, Ava, Will, McLean, and Evie; and siblings, Bobby, David, Mary (Reggie), Bill (Jane), Carolyn (Jim) and Glenn (Stephanie). Hello: This message is intended to a son or daughter of Jo Ann Mc Lean Wyatt. I am from Albemarle NC and knew Jo Ann and her family from our attendance at Fairview Baptist Church when it was located there on Moss Springs Road near East Main St. I would enjoy exchanging memories with any member of the family or friend of hers. I live in Las Vegas and my email address is [email protected]. My condolences to all her family and friends. BB

The Wyatts were neighbors of ours in Richmond, Indiana for many years . Even though we moved to Florida, Bill and JoAnn continued to visit us here and kept in touch.
4 mos ago, we met JoAnn in Indianapolis for 2 days. We laughed, sang, dined
and danced with mutual long time
friends . JoAnn was beautiful inside and out. Her passing was a
shock, but to know her was a blessing. She enriched our lives .

So very sorry! It is all so hard to believe. Jo Ann and Bill will always be in our hearts, and so will you kids. We love you and are here for you. You are not alone.
When I think of JoAnn and Bill I think of laughter and good times and our brown bag gag gifts, that came with speeches. What crazy fun we always had together! How blessed we were to have known each other.

Dear Matt, Liz, Katharine and extended families.
My condolences to you all on your Mother's passing. She was a dear friend for 42 years. You know that your Mom, Dad, Bill and I shared so many interests and fun times together even after we moved west. I will miss our conversations and 'support phone calls'. Blessings to you all; you know where I am. Love, Pat
