JOHN BAUERMEISTER Obituary

JOHN WAYNE BAUERMEISTER, 49, of Ossian, died on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. "Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life." Revelation 2:10. Born June 19, 1964, he was the third child of Robert. W. and Jeanette (Hoffman) Bauermeister. John graduated from Norwell High School in 1983. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree with high honors from Saint Francis College. John was a lifelong farmer and took great pride in his chosen profession. He enjoyed being a member of the Wells County Conservation Club and the St. Joe Valley Conservation Club. Survivors include his parents, Robert and Jeanette Bauermeister of Ossian; brother, James Bauermeister of Ossian; sister, Deborah Bacon of Ossian; and niece, Katelyn Bacon of Ossian. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Hilda Bauermeister and Harold and Vera Hoffman. "John was a loving son, brother, and uncle." Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2013, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Family and friends may also visit from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville. Preferred memorials are to Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
