John Strube Obituary

Rev. Dr. John C. Stube, 73, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, entered the glorious realm of heaven on Monday July 15, 2024, at his daughter's residence.

John was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Sarah Ann in 1990. He is survived by his daughter, Katie (Cam) Mere of Decatur, Indiana and two grandchildren, Jacqueline Alice Mere and Calvin John Mere also of Decatur. Additionally, his sister, Judy Donovan (Bill) of Independence, Oregon also survives. Funeral services for Rev. Dr. John Stube will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Ascension Lutheran Church, 8811 St. Joe Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. at the Ascension Lutheran Church and also on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, Pastor Stube's family would ask that memorials may be made to: Ascension Lutheran School or to the Ascension Lutheran Church Bell Tower Fund and can be sent to Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, 520 N. 2nd Street, Decatur, IN 46733.
