John Young Obituary

JOHN S. YOUNG, 52, of Fort Wayne, formerly of rural Albion, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. He was formerly employed at J.C. Penney and Lincoln Life, and had last worked for Waterfield Mortgage Co., Inc. until 2005. Surviving are his parents, Lloyd and Ruth Anna Young of Albion; sister, Carol Young of Albion; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Service is 10 a.m. Saturday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial in Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam. Memorials to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home or donor's choice.

John was a great friend! We shared many hours together When he was working at JCPenney in Indianapolis and have kept in contact over the years. I always enjoyed John's company and conversations. I will keep many memories in my heart of the wonderful times we shared. My condolenses to the family. John will be greatly missed.

John was a very special friend to me when he worked at Lincoln Life and I am deeply saddened by his passing. I know that he is in a better place now. He will be greatly missed.
