JOHNNIE E. JONES, 51, Fort Wayne, formerly of Flint, Mich., died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005, at home. He was a self employed carpet installer. He attended God Our Provider Church, Fort Wayne. He is survived by his daughter, Lois L. (Isaac) Litchfield of Fort Wayne; a son, Johnnie J. Jones of Fort Wayne; his father, William E. (Marcy) Jones of Fort Wayne; three sisters, Jackie (George) Shoops of Flint, Mich., Janice (Joe) Worley of Kalamazoo, Mich. and Jill (Stewart) Pounds of Flint, Mich.; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and a beloved canine friend, Maggie. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Carolyn Jones. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Vickie and the Heartland Hospice Family. Memorial service is 1 p.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Mich., with the Rev. Jackson officiating. Friends may gather to share and remember from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Heartland Home Health Care & Hospice.
