JOSEPH SPERONE Obituary

JOSEPH N. SPERONE, 93, of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Lutheran Hospital. Born Nov. 12, 1923, in Milmont, Pa., he was a son of the late Joseph and Pauline (Grarente) Sperone. He served in the Navy and was a floor inspector for Zollner Corporation. He was a member of American Legion Post 241 and St. Therese Catholic Church. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth (Terri) Sperone and Joseph R. (Mary) Sperone; daughter-in-law, Linda Sperone of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren, Nick and Sophia; and three brothers, Vic, Harry and John Sperone. He as also preceded in death by his wife, Thelma (Ormiston) Sperone; son, Thomas Sperone; and grandson, Dominic. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, with calling one hour prior. Father Lawrence Teteh officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
