Julia Whyte Obituary

JULIA E. WHYTE, 88, of Fort Wayne, a retired credit investigator, died Monday, March 24, 2003, at Parkview Hospital. The Fort Wayne native retired in 1981 from Summit Bank after 16 years of service and enjoyed counted cross-stitch. She was involved with Social Order of Beauceant and Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are daughters Beverly Garcia of Fort Wayne and Janet Horn of Franklin, Wis.; sisters Mary Spenn and Virginia Wheeler, both of Fort Wayne, and Joanne Grish of Loma Linda, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Her husband, Robert, predceded her in death. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at D.O. McComb & sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling two hours before services. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials are to the American Cancer Society ofr American Heart Association.
