Karen Lime Obituary
Karen had many hobbies, interests and passions including gardening, holistic health, massage therapy, crafting, knitting, and sewing but cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren the most. Although simple, she was a generous, independent woman that was intentional in all she did, and lived sacrificially as a single mother, often working multiple jobs to provide and care for her family.
Karen is survived by her loving and devoted son, Mark (Jennifer) Lime; beloved grandchildren, Allison (Tate) Study, Kaitlynn (Cody) Shepherd, and Laura Kai Lime; great-grandchildren, Addison, Chloe, Evan, and Noah; brother, Benjamin Franklin; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl (Jack) Pfanner; and former husband, Danny Lime.
Friends and family will be received from 1 - 4 PM, on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Rd., Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be directed to the ALS Association of Fort Wayne, PO Box 37022, Boone, IA 50037-0022.
