I'm sorry for your lose. I don't know if I will be able to get home in time the Memorial Service, but I will be saying a prayer for Kate at that time.

We are sorry that we can't be with you at this time. Uncle Dallas is not able to travel due to his illness. We will be thinking about you,and will always remember the good times we had with your parents. Especially the meals at the "Old Country Buffet" in Fort Wayne.

Cousins...You are fortunate to have had your mom for such a long time. I am sure she is at peace and reunited now with her husband, son, brother, and parents. I'm sure you have wonderful memories that will forever live in your hearts. The world has lost a devout Catholic and Democrat. Love, Kay

My sincere sympathies to you, Richard, Ann, and Joan for the passing of your mom. Kate always held a special place in my heart...I guess because she was one of mom's good friends from Zulu. Now they are both gone from this earth and with each other in Heaven. Oh, the stories they will have to tell one another now that they are together again. I will miss Kate dearly, although my visits and letters to her got farther and farther in between. I did say a prayer for her almost every evening for God to watch over her and bless her. Again, my deepest condolences to all of Kate's family. She was a dear, sweet, and funny lady.
