My sincere sympathy to Dr. Payne's family and especially to his wife, Brenda. Dr. Payne was a wonderful man and an exemplary superintendent. I enjoyed his humor as well as his professionalism. I truly trusted his advice and support as a Duneland principal. He was a great educator.
