Forever Gone but Forever in Our Hearts

The caring prayers, the shaking shock -
This awful news my world did rock.
No one knew how it happened or why.
We were all so sad; it made me cry.
How unfair it should have happened now -
Won't someone ever tell me how?
His tears had dried, his pain had healed;
And God chose this time for him life to yield.
It's later now, while we've moved on -
We miss him as though he had just gone.
We'll never forget all the good he did,
Even though, to him our farewells we've bid.
We love him still, we miss him yet;
And on this I'll forever bet.
If he is truly in our hearts,
From us he'll never be truly apart.

Dear Dodie,
Words can not express how sorry we are at your loss of Kenny. He was a great guy, and always there for friends and neighbors... We can't count the number of times he came to each of our assistance when something was broken....he would look at the problem, rub his chin, 'Well', I can see what I can do...and you knew darn well he would fix it!
It doesn't seem right to look out the window and not see Kenny mowing with his straw hat on, or cutting up a tree, or working in his garage....
We, all, as your neighbor-family, share your loss.
With deepest sympathy,
Barb & Tom Fischer (Babsy)
