LISA M. FILLER

LISA M. FILLER, 33, lost her battle with a long term illness, Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Lisa graduated from Snider High School and from Hope College in Holland, Mich. where she was a Baker Scholar and earned her bachelor's degree in business. She worked as a senior marketing analyst at the Corporate Executive Board for eight years before working as a product manager at Herman Miller in Holland, Mich. for the past year. She had a deep love of family and friends. She was a gifted writer and had a great sense of humor. She gave love and encouragement to all who knew her. She also enjoyed yoga, golf, dance, and was a fan of the Cubs and the Bears. Surviving are her parents, Stephen and Ann Filler of Fort Wayne; sister, Laura Filler of Fort Wayne; aunts and uncles, Barb (Mike) Ellis of Holland, Mich., Deb (Pope) Mulherin of Jackson, Tenn., Sue (Bob) Olson of San Diego, Calif. and Cathy (Tom) Monroe of Denton, Texas; cousins, David, Jennifer, Lindsey, Sarah, Brian, Cassandra and Kristin. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Don and Wanda Cochran, Richard and Ethel Filler; step-grandmother, Joan Filler; and aunt, Carol Filler. Service is 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at Plymouth Congregational Church, 501 W. Berry St., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Dr. John P. Gardner officiating. Calling also from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road.
