Lois Hatfield Obituary

Lois Christine "Chris" (Hand) Hatfield, 79, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2023, Chris worked for FWCS and also for Meijer's from where she retired. She enjoyed bus trips that were offered by Land Cruise, going to Tincaps games, working out at Turnstone and going out to eat. She was unassuming and very soft spoken.

Chris is survived by her husband, Jim; daughter, Michelle (Mike) Gerbasich of Kingwood, TX; sister, Jo Ellen Hicks, of Walkerton, IN; brother, Don Hand, of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Katie and Bryce Gerbasich.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Parkview Home Hospice for their exceptional care. No services are planned at this time. Memorial gifts may be directed to Turnstone, SPCA, Ft Wayne Children's Zoo or Parkview Home Hospice Care.
