LOIS INA SUTTON

1935 - 2022

LOIS INA SUTTON, 86, went home to be with her Savior on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Born July 7, 1935, in New Matam oras, Ohio, she was a daughter of Charles and Irma Earley. After high school, Lois soon met Paul Sutton, her husband of 61 years. Together they raised a family and were faithful church members to the end. Paul preceded her in death in 2015. Lois was content with life's simplicities. An avid reader, she also loved spending time with her family, traveling, and taking photos - her camera was always at hand! She enjoyed several jobs throughout her life, including as a librarian aid and as a special education paraeducator. Lois is survived by her sister, Irma L. Earley; five children, Mark (Lori), Kent (Tracy), Jill (Gary), Troy, Jule (Greg); 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. "She will be greatly missed." Memorial service is tentatively scheduled for early Spring at New Beginnings Community Church, 1121 Trick Ave, Fort Wayne (IN 46808). Further updates will be posted.
