Duane and I are just so very sad at Martha's passing. If I were requested to offer the name of someone that I totally admire for her poignant and sharp intellect, bubbly positivity, totally fearless ability to offer her honest opinion, (even if she agrees with you, or not)unconditional love Martha's name would definitely topmy list.Al of that, and then even being able to throw in an incredibly sharp sense of humor, we are going to be missing her ...for sure! But, because of those incredible traits, we all have a plethora of wonderful stories! I found it so amusing that one of my favorite holiday photos would come from one of our favorite Jewish friends Lol!
If I remember correctly, Chuck had already claimed the honor of helping "Mr.Claus" while he was trying to finish all of the toys. He claimed that his qualification was based on the similarity of the two men's "perfect profile physiques".
So, while we were all admiring his "credentials", a 7to8 months preggers Martha waltzed right up to Chuck, presented her "uniquely perfect profile", and said, tummy to tummy, "beat this...Buster". For years, I considered using that photo as a primary candidate for my yearly "Christmas card LOL!
We'll always treasure your love, Martha! Love and Hugs, Barb Gravley

We have the most wonderful memories of being together with our best friends in Brazil, Martha and Chuck were second family to us. We went through thick and thin and always remember them with heartfelt thoughts. The abrupt loss of Martha is so difficult for her family and friends, yet we have to come together and remember all the wonderful things about her. Martha was always positive, friendly, always willing to lend a hand, loved to entertain and celebrate life and most of all she loved her family. Dearest Martha you will be missed but will live in our memories forever!
Love,
Sonia & Gerry

Chuck, Shauna and Taylor, my deepest sympathy. Martha and your entire family meant a great deal to me throughout my childhood. I still have many fond memories of all of the time spent with your family and sharing in traditions. From having scrambled eggs with cheese in the morning after sleepovers, when she played the 33" Michael Jackson Thriller record in the loft above the garage, and riding around with her in the AMC Pacer. Just great memories of Martha! Even not seeing her since 1986ish, I still have the biggest smile when I think of her!

We mourn with the Chuck & the family the loss of his mate, Martha. We knew her as a loving devoted wife and one who never gave up, despite what life brought. We have memories of her walking in the neighborhood following her stoke, determined to recover and we enjoyed a wonderful seder dinner with the family only months ago, We will miss Martha!
