MATTIE SHAW Obituary
MATTIE L. SHAW, 64, passed away Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, in Lutheran Hospital. Surviving are her children, BenJamin Shaw Jr., Emma Phillips, Deloris Chaney, Cynthia Robinson, and Katherine McClin-on; three brothers, John Tucker, RL Tucker and Earnest Tucker; two sisters, Annie M. Weaver and Julia Griffin; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, David Shaw. Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Come As You Are Church, with calling one hour prior. Arrangements by Nelson Memorial Gardens Inc.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I dont know what to say besides I miss you, I miss my Mattie time on tuesdays. You laughing at me for bein scary. Or not bein able to keep my pants up. I will never forget any of the time we spent together in the past year. I am glad you are a part of my life. You may not have known it but you taught me a lot and I pray that one day I can be as strong and selfless as you were. I love you and thank you for letting me be apart of your world.

I FIRST WANT TO SAY THAT I AM SO VERY SORRY THAT YOU GUYS HAVE HAD TO ENDURE THIS LOSE. GRANNIE WAS A VERY SPECIAL PERSON TO ME , SHE WAS AND STILL IS TRULY A ONE OF A KIND PERSON. Mom you are our light and guidance thru every storm. Even though you are not here with us physically you have given all of us the strength to do as you desire. I will miss you knowing when Im trying to hide pain and those words of comfort to keep me strong. I love you.
