To the Koester and Schoenherr families.
Our sincere sympathy to all of you.
Mildred was a friend of my mom, Eleanor Schoenefeld, who passed away 7 wks ago.
They have received a reward, to be a part of the great company of saints in heaven to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus. WHAT JOY for them and deep peace for us to know they are there. Now we look forward to being with them for all of eternity by placing our trust and faith in Jesus, just as they did. They lived their faith and spoke of Jesus freely...so that we can know they believed. What a joy that is.
May God comfort all of you, especially Lester. I know you will ALL miss her...her laughter and her love. She truly blessed your lives.

Tom and family,
Our sympathy to you at the loss of your mother. We share the understanding of the recent loss of a mom. We rejoice with you in the knowledge that Christ came for us as a child to give us and our moms eternal life. Praise God for that hope of heaven and that we will indeed be with our moms and our Lord one day. God bless you as you grieve but celebrate at the same time. May Christmas have new meaning for you.

You are not forgotten loved one nor will you ever be
As long as life and memory last We will remember thee

We miss you now, our hearts are sore,As time goes by we miss you more,
Your loving smile, your gentle face
No one can fill your vacant place.
Given on October 1,1961 In loving Memory of Sophia Koester

What a privilege and blessing it has been to have Mildred as our mother and mother-in-law for the last 20+ years. Being a step child was never given a thought due to the love, kindness, laughter, and faith Mildred shared with us and our father, even until the end. We will miss Mildred greatly, but also rejoice with her in joy.

Love, Dan and Laura Saffen
