PATRICIA L. PLAZEK, 79, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Ind. Patricia was born May 4, 1942 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late Harvey and Betty (Heffelfinger) Bell. She married Ronald Plazek, who survives, on May 4, 1963. She was a member of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She loved spending time and shopping with her granddaughters. Patricia loved to play golf and cards with her friends and was very active with the class reunions at Central High School. Patricia is survived, along with her husband, by son, Paul H. (Kim Binder) Plazek of Albion, Ind.; brother, Barney E (Marcia) Bell of Goshen, Ind.; sister, Iva Parrish of Charleston, S.C.; two grandchildren, Tara-Plazek (Ethan) Held, Tess E. Plazek; great-granddaughter, Ryan Held. Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. Visitation also from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery Fort Wayne.
