Paul Hoppe Obituary

Paul Hoppe, age 97, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2024, at Golden Years Homestead in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born December 21, 1926, to Paul M. and Amanda (Dammeier) Hoppe. He graduated from Northside HS and served in the army as a draftsman in WWII in the Pacific Theatre. Paul married Carol M. Campbell June 20, 1948 and they celebrated their 75th anniversary last summer. He worked 35 years for Seyfert Foods and drove vehicles for several auto dealerships locally. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Elaine (A.J.) Pierce and his daughter, Barbara K. Hoppe. Paul is survived by wife, Carol, daughters, Linda (Arthur) Just and Susan (Lauren) DenHartog, 3 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service with military honors in the Spring.

Wow! such a wonderful family and old Neighbors we had! Carol, my heart goes out to you and your family during this time of sadness.
Paul was a great man and so lucky to have his wonderful family! It seems like many hundred moons since I´ve recalled the first home we started with a family of 3 boys , And very Busy boys they were! As you recall.
