PAULINE ELIZABETH MILLEMAN

PAULINE ELIZABETH MILLEMAN, 85, passed away on Monday, Jan. 1, 2018. I.U. basketball lost one of its biggest fans as our Heavenly Father called for Pauline to become one of his angels. She was born on April 5, 1932, to a farm family in Avilla. At a very early age, she was preparing meals and performing household duties for her parents. As practice makes perfect, her skills in the kitchen became legendary. Sunday lunch after church service at grandma's house was the family gathering place with all the dishes and desserts made from scratch. Her social calendar was highlighted with card clubs as she enjoyed bridge, pinochle and euchre. But most of all, she loved to watch her grandchildren participate in their many sporting events and musical performances. She met her husband, Ronald Lee Milleman, at Kraft Foods in Kendallville and they were married Jan. 28, 1956. Shortly after, they moved to Huntertown, where they were blessed to raise their family of five children. She was a dedicated and active church member at Our Hope Lutheran Church. Surviving are her son, Dr. Jeffery (Kim) Milleman of Fort Wayne; daughters, Carol (Matt) Richardson and Kris (Mark) Fisher, both of Huntertown; ten grandchildren, Kyle (Cassie) Milleman, Carter Milleman, Cocoa Milleman, Nick (Becky) Papaik, Angie Papaik, Carmen (Tim) Keyes, Abbie (Jared) Yoder, Casey (James) Brames, Ford Fisher, and Gage Fisher; five great-grandchildren, Tayven Keyes, Cooper Keyes, Addison Papaik, Morgan Papaik, and Levi Zimmerman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl W. and Harriet E. Weimer; husband, Ronald L. Milleman in 1989; daughters, Ronda E. Hursh in 1992, and Susan E. Papaik in 2003; and brother, Richard E Weimer in 2010. Service is 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at Our Hope Lutheran Church, 1826 Trinity Drive, Huntertown, with calling two hours prior. Burial will follow service at Perry Township Cemetery, Huntertown. Memorial preference is to Our Hope Lutheran Church. Arrangements by Northern Indiana Funeral Care of Fort Wayne.
