Phyllis Harden Obituary

PHYLLIS J. HARDEN, 69, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, June 2, 2007, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Bryan, Ohio, she was a computer forwarding clerk for U.S.P.S., with 13 years of service, retiring in 1993. She also worked for ITT for 6 years. She enjoyed needlepoint, collecting angels, hummingbirds and dogs. Surviving are her son, Scott (Karyn) Harden; granddaughter, Aimee Elizabeth Harden, all of Fort Wayne; brother, Duane (Mary) Benner of W. Unity, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen M. Harden in 2001. Service is 11 a.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. The Rev. Patrick Fulbright officiating. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to American Cancer Sosiety or American Diabetes Association.
