RALPH NICHTER Obituary

RALPH R. NICHTER, 87, of Bluffton, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016, 6:30 p.m., at Markle Health & Rehab. Center. Born Nov. 6, 1928, Ralph retired as a cameraman technician from WKJG-TV in Fort Wayne. He is survived by his wife, Connie of Bluffton; children, William A. Nichter, James D. (Carolyn) Nichter, Michael D. (Janice) Nichter, and Robert B. (Janet) Nichter, all of Fort Wayne, Diane M. (Robert) Kimmel of Columbia City, Kathleen A. (Randy) Birch of Bluffton, and Carolyn S. (Terry) Frye of Sharpsburg, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; and two sisters, Joanne Nichter and Marianne Nichter of Sarasota, Fla. Mass of the Christian Burial is 9 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bluffton. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Thoma / Rich, Lemler Funeral Home, with a rosary service at 8 p.m. A complete obituary can be found at www.thomarich.com

Sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. He was always such a kind person. I remember many times when he would fix our tv and tell us funny stories of being a cameraman. My dad enjoyed Ralph as a friend and a bowling buddy. My condolences to the family
