ROBERT KELL Obituary

ROBERT REO KELL JR., 76, died Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.Born April 2, 1945, in South Bend, Ind., he was a son of the late Robert Sr. and Loretta (Pilach) Kell. Bob was known by all as a funny and charismatic man with a big heart. He was never without a story to tell or advice to offer. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1963 to 1969 when he was honorably discharged. He was the recipient of a purple heart from his service in Vietnam. He was a collector of many things including coins, swords, and model cars. He had a laugh that was contagious and the best sense of humor. He was a loving husband, a caring father, and an amazing Papaw to his grandbabies. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor to know him. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Kell; sons, Doug and Cody Kell; daughters, Heaven (Sean) Braden, Faith (Jeremy) Keeran, Morgan Hardaway, and McKenzie (Jacob) Latimer; six grandsons; four granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Tammy Turley; and brother, Tony Kell. He was preceded in death by daughter, Robin Lynn Kell Connett; and son, Shannon Kell. Memorial service is 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Grace Gathering Church, 3157 Minnich Road, New Haven, Ind, with viewing from noon to 3 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Northern Indiana Funeral Care.
