Sabrina Marie Donovan

Sabrina Marie Donovan, 59, passed away on September 6, 2025, at her home in Westfield, Indiana. She loved her family, friends, students and clients, Butler basketball, beach days and sunsets. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Sabrina spent her formative years in San Francisco, California before returning to Indiana to graduate from Concordia Lutheran High School in 1984. She attended Purdue University earning her instrument rating and a private pilot certificate before ultimately graduating with a degree in Organizational Leadership. While finishing school, she began a career in the fitness industry as a fitness instructor and certified personal trainer. Sabrina instructed, trained, coached, taught and mentored hundreds of clients and students encouraging fitness, good health and wellness during her 35+ years in the industry. Sabrina, or Nina to her grandkids, was a selfless wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, friend and volunteer that brightened every occasion with her joy, positivity and smile. Sabrina cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, welcomed a good workout anytime, never left a party early, and loved long days on the beach with family and friends.

Sabrina is survived by her husband, Rick of Westfield, Indiana; daughters Alixandria (Steve) Pelych and Madelyn (Brady) O'Cull of Carmel, Indiana; son Campbell of Indianapolis; grandchildren Gracelyn and Griffin Pelych and Roman O'Cull; brothers Steven (Susan) Krieg of Santa Rosa, California and Scott (Ronia) Krieg of Woodburn, Indiana; sister-in-law Mary Kay Donovan of Fort Wayne; extended family and lifelong friends. She is preceded in death by her father James Krieg, mother Beverly Krieg, and granddaughter Donovan Rose O'Cull.
