Sonia Finn Obituary

Sonia Finn, 90, passed away on August 3, 2025, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born in Muncie, IN to the late Herman and Barbara Smith. Sonia had many interests including singing and listening to music, staying active in the golfing community, and enjoying her winters in Florida for many years. She will be remembered for co-founding Service Electric alongside her husband in 1973, which remains a thriving business today. Even more than all her hobbies, she will be remembered for her legacy of hard work, kindness, sacrificial love for her family, and her joy. Even in life's challenges, she always had a smile on her face. She was a living example of providing and serving her family, including her cherished grandchildren. Sonia is survived by her husband, Joseph Finn; seven children, Susan (Jerry) Miller, Robert (Cindy) Finn, Debora Finn, Valerie (Doug) Parson, Steven (Laura) Gottfried, Patricia Finn, and Maureen (Dennis) Wilson; 17 grandkids; and 28 great-grandkids. A funeral service will be held at a later date. To sign the online guestbook, go to www.fairhavenfortwayne.com
