Sylvia Braun Obituary
Sylvia worked at Concordia Lutheran High School. She was a breeder of Birman cats, and with her husband, traveled the country judging cat shows. Sylvia enjoyed making baskets, shopping trips with her family, and taking cruises to Hawaii and the Caribbean.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald of Avilla; sons Jefferey (Penny) Braun of Columbia City, and James (Nora) Braun, of Spokane, Washington; daughters, Sara (David) Brown, of Hamilton, Celeste (Tim) Arens, of Churubusco. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Nancy and Judy Barrett.
Funeral Service will be 11am, Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Faith Lutheran Church, 9251 E SR 205, Churubusco, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Jason Zoske will officiate. Visitation will also be 2-6pm Friday, November 3, 2023, at Harper Funeral Home, Avilla Chapel, 530 N Main St, Avilla
Burial will be at Concordia Cemetery Gardens in Fort Wayne. Memorials in Sylvia's memory may be directed to charity of donor's choice.
