Peggy,
Our family is deeply saddened to see the passing of Gene. He touched the lives of many without even knowing it. We use to be your neighbors in Shorewood and lived at 909 Timberlake Trail before moving ten years ago. Our daughter would love to see Gene ride by our house on his Harley. She would be playing in the back yard when she heard his bike and run out to the front walk to waive at him as he gave her his "big smile and waive". (This memory is one of her fondest while living in Shorewood) Up to his passing our family would still waive at him as we saw him riding up and down Illinois Road. May God's love and grace help you through this difficult time.

Dear Peggy, you are all in my prayers. He was one of a kind. His smile was contagious and his sense of humor was infectious. His caring heart will live on in your family. Hugs from Texas.

Sorry to hear of Gene's passing, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope. In the days to come may you find comfort in that hope.
