Thomas Henry Obituary

THOMAS E. HENRY, 78, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the owner of Henry Welding for 12 years and retired in 1987. Tom was also the manager of Seaboard Finance Co. and owner of Tom Henry Auto Sales. He was a World War II Marine Veteran and Purple Heart survivor of Iwo Jima. Tom was a member of Cedar Creek Church of Christ, Leo Masonic Lodge 224, American Legion Post 409, DAV and VFW. "Tom touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew him." Survivors include his wife, Patricia L. Henry of Grabill; daughters, Diana L. (Jerry) Ream of Grabill, Lois "Jo" (Rick) Voirol of Spencerville; grandchildren, Thomas J. (Melissa) Ream, Kenneth D. (Beth) Voirol, Robert T. (Heather) Voirol, Amy J. (Paul) (Ream) Brennan; great-granddaughters, Chalea, Haley Jo, Hannah, Mariah and Kate; sister, Ruth Carl of Pottstown, Pa. Service is 10 a.m. Monday at Cedar Creek Church of Christ, 12606 SR 1, with calling one hour prior. Calling is also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites by American Legion Post 409. Memorials to Cedar Creek Church of Christ or The Cedars Retirement Home.
