Joseph DeBellis Obituary
Joseph was retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving twenty years then worked for Harris Graphics Company as a second shift supervisor. He was an avid Nascar fan enjoyed camping and loved tinkering in his garage, making toys for his grandchildren. He enjoyed anything to do with airplanes but especially loved spending time with his family.
Members of his family include his wife of 45 years, Karen (Merrill) DeBellis; son, Anthony DeBellis and wife Trisha, Rochester; daughter, Jennifer Dodge and husband Matt, Suffolk, Va.; grandchildren, Emily, Molly, Anthony, Aidan, Alex and Cameron; sister, Angela Tenore and husband Renato, Yonkers, N.Y.; sister-in-law, Anna Marie DeBellis and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, John DeBellis.
SERVICES: A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 28, 2017, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St., Rochester, N.H.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Cocheco Valley Humane Society, 262 County Farm Rd., Dover, N.H., 03820.

I had the privilege to work and travel with Joe while working with him at Heidelberg. He was an extremely hard worker and a good friend. He will surely be missed.

I worked with Joe at aircraft job control at Pease AFB. For years I saw him on a daily basis. Either I relieved him at the end of his shift or he relieved me. He was a good guy and easy to get along with. He taught me quite a bit about the FB-111A. Since retirement we saw each other occasionally. The last time was summer of 2015 at White Lake. My family and I attended a birthday party for him at his home in Dover. He threw me into the pool! So sorry to hear he passed. He was a good guy, a good boss and a good NCO. RIP Joe!

I knew Joe from Pease where he was the NCOIC of the swing shift in Job Control. A super NCO with whom I was honored to work. He was the first crew chief of FB-111A SN 68-0265. Requiescat in pace.
