Joseph Mace Obituary

DOVER - Joseph Edgar Mace, born November 23, 1958, passed away at home surrounded by his family and friends on Thursday, October 26, 2017, after a four year battle with cancer.

The son of Betty Mace, currently residing in Las Vegas, and Gordon Mace Sr. (deceased), Joe is survived by his three children, Joshua, Caleb, and Lily Mace; his former wife, Peggy Mace; his sister, Judith Bradshaw-Rojas of Las Vegas; brothers, Ric Grant and David Grant of Las Vegas, and Gordon Mace Jr., of Rochester, N.H.; along with a multitude of friends throughout the Dover community.

Joe served in the Air Force from 1976 to 1980 in England and Tucson, Ariz. He was a dedicated employee in information technology at Fidelity Investments for approximately 20 years.

In his spare time, Joe was a passionate music enthusiast and enjoyed photography of all mediums, including large format.

SERVICES: There will be a casual Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, November 25, 2017, between 2-4 p.m., at Bending Bodhi Yoga studio at 10 Franklin Plaza in Dover. Please stop in to honor Joe's memory during this season of Thanksgiving. We are so grateful to have had him in our lives.
