Linda Beaudet Obituary
She was born in Dover, N.H., on July 17, 1948, the daughter of Arthur and Barbara (Wiggin) Bartlett. She was raised and educated in Eliot and graduated from Eliot High School, Class of 1966.
Linda had worded for many years at Liberty Mutual in both Portsmouth and Dover. She had also worked in the Bureau of Taxation in Montpelier, Vt.
Linda continued to further her education by attending classes in paralegal studies at McIntosh College in Dover.
She especially enjoyed sewing and knitting both Irish knits and Icelandic sweaters for her family. She liked crocheting afghans and macramé, along with other crafts. She was especially proud of a stained glass afghan that she finished last year. Linda enjoyed spending time walking on the beach and taking spontaneous trips, like driving to Canada to surprise family for Christmas.
As a younger woman, Linda liked taking long bike rides with her husband and her boys. She also enjoyed owning various "Mustang" sedans over the years. She had a large collection of rosary beads, and faithfully recited the rosary daily.
Linda is survived by her husband of 37 years, Gerard "Jerry" R. Beaudet of South Berwick; her sons, Steven Beaudet of South Berwick and Scott Beaudet of North Berwick; brother, Arthur Bartlett Jr. of Eliot. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as a niece and a great-niece, also survive her. Linda is also survived by her very special friend, Cathy, who was there for her until the end. Also, her watchdog and faithful companion, "The Girl."
Linda's family would like to thank all those caring individuals who gave of their time to provide the best possible care to her over the past several months.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, Sept. 16 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at McIntire-McCooey Funeral Home, 301 Main Street, in South Berwick. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. at St. Christopher's Church, 4 Barrell Lane, in York. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery in Rollinsford, N.H.

So sorry to hear about Linda we were classmates and good friends in school. One of our classmates sent an e-mail message and I just read about it. I'll always remember the fun times we had with the cows on the Third Hill Farm. She was always very shy and very sweet in school, and we enjoyed many good times together. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends she will be missed but never forgotten

To Linda's family, I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I have childhood memories of her with the family at my grandparents' Sunday pool gatherings. She was a very kind woman, and I remember she was always smiling. My thoughts are with you.
