Michael Callahan Obituary

DOVER — Michael P. Callahan, 53, of Dover, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover following a long illness.

He was born on Jan. 7, 1958, in Springfield, Mass., the son of Leo F. and Mary E. (Quinlan) Callahan. He was raised and educated in Enfield, Conn., and graduated from Fermi High School in Enfield, Conn., class of 1976.

Dear Donna,
I'm sorry to hear of Mike's passing, and also sorry that I was unable to attend last night's service to tell you in person. It was a joy to get to know Mike while working o.t. in extrusion and then later meeting you in RAB. May God bless you and be with you and your family in this sorrowful time.

Dear Donna and Family,
My toughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I never really got to know Mike. I found it ironic that he went to school in my home town and graduated with my younger brother. He said he was a great guy. Knowing you Donna, I'm sure he was. With my deepest sympathy.

Donna, Danny,
How shocked to find this in the paper today. We are so sorry. Jody and I have so many fond, and very funny memories of our days at Patriots Park. Michael is in all of them. He was always there for Jody, always kind, always a joy. We are so sorry we did not keep in touch. Our thoughts are with you all.
