Pat & Family,
It's with deepest sorrow and sympathies to convey my message of Bill's passing. Bill was everything and more his family of friends admired him for. He goes to his maker with a multitude of life long joys and happiness he himself shared with others. A few of mine were.....riding shotgun on the tractor while "green feeding"...watching and shuttling the cows in the milking room...chasing down those loose cows...cleaning out the stalls...hand feeding the calfs from a bottle...waiting for the chores to be completed to ride off to one of many roller skating rinks in his 56 Chevy... his pride and joy...
or just sitting on the banks of Milton Three Ponds at "Old Point Comfort" and
viewing as "the silvery moon rises over the dear old hills of Maine".
May God bless you Bill and watch over your family.

Pat, David, and Dena,

What a great man, I will miss him so much i learned so much from the hale boys. Work was a four letter word that didn't hurt, It started at 5:00 am, to when the hockey games were over at billy and pats house.
The Smell of cow manure didn't smell it was money to me at the age of 7 years old to 19 years old i was very lucky to be able to learn what i did.
I wish the farm was going because i miss my favorite sayings (BACK UP, THE COWS ARE OUT, BY&BY, CHECK, WHAT CHECK and the most favorite one was THE BULL IS LOOOSE RUN BOBBY RUN)
So Billy I will never miss your smile you left me when you and Bobby Day stop by we had a great life together.
When I get there i will bring some fire balls, chocolate fudge and some worlds famous Birch Beer Soda, from Arthur G. Mayo's you old KA, DO, DA, LOOO
(Zoo It!!)
P.S. You will always be a special person in my life, you will be missed!
Love Robert A. Munroe, Shari, Alex and Sara
Pat, David and Dena if the cows get out just call me anytime!
Love you always!

Pat, David & Dena,

I was so saddened to hear about Billy's passing. It stirred a lot of emotions in me having lost my Dad recently. The Huckins Road wouldn't have been the same without the Hale Farm there. It was a right of passage for all of us kids to get our feet wet in the working world by working on the farm. If you were really lucky, you were invited up to the house to watch the big fight or the hockey games on the UHF antenna! This was such a big treat for Bob and Steve. I have so many memories! Rest in peace Billy. You were loved by so many people and you touched so many lives, especially each and every one of us Huckins Road kids.

Dear Pat, David & Dena
It saddens our family greatly to know that Billy has lost his hard fought battle. He gave it his all though and the three of you were there right to the end. Bill had such a huge impact in the lives of all the Munroe kids...Gary, Bob, Steve, Diane, Alan & Tom. They probably drove him crazy at times but the stories and tales told over the years indicate they loved Billy like he was a big older brother to them. His presence in their lives influenced them in more ways than anyone outside the Huckins Rd circle would understand. The Munroes always had a mutual care, admiration and respect for Billy and we'll never forget him or that great smile.

Please know you are all in our thughts and prayers at this most difficult time but take comfort in knowing he won't be suffering any longer. Love to all of you.

Dena-
I'm sorry for your loss. I only got to meet your father once or twice at the Pumpkin Barn. You always spoke so highly of him, particularly his work ethic and dedication to the farm. I know you'll miss him every day, but just think, now you can mow the lawn in the summer and know he's watching over you. Pain free.

Dear Pat,David,Dena & Family
Knowing Billy for many years makes me wish I had him for a friend like my brother was to Richard, Billys older brother,I realize the loss of what would of been a great friend to have, I am saddened by his passing, but just seeing him and knowing what he was going through was not fair to him, just knowing he is at rest with his maker is his reward for living a good life with his family.
God Bless you Billy enjoy Heaven.

November 28, 2010
