ROBERT HAVINGA Robert Pieter Havinga of Ordway passed away at home at the age of 62. Robert was born in Vryberg, North West Cape, South Africa to Benjamin and Beryl Havinga. Robert worked building the railroad in South Africa as well as being in the South African National Defense Force prior to 2000. Robert had also worked as a Safari Guide for 7 years. Robert was a loving husband to Cassidhe Holke. Cassidhe and Robert used to say to each other all the time about friends and family that have passed on "Op sy Grootste Safari hou Hy in Braai in die Hermel." They moved to the United States in 2018 and he is going to missed by everybody who knew him. Robert is survived by his wife of 7 years Cassidhe Holke, 6 children: Sanita Cloete of South Africa, Bernardt Havinga of South Africa, Steven Burgeson of CA, Andre Figueroa of NC, Jairo Fernandez of CO and Isiah Walker of CO, 4 grandchildren: Reinhardt Havinga, Zan{e'} Havinga, Mieka van Rensburg,Ayla Figueroa, 2 sisters: Carlo Cloete, Elieze (Dani) Dryer, 3 brother-in-laws: Dani Kollin, Eytan Kollin, Dani Dryer, sister-in-law: Dahlia Taft, niece: Nekita Cloete, and loving extended family members from the Wiggins family and Ferreira family, Robinson family, Hagar family and Stewart family. A reception will be held at the house on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 2:00 9:00 P.M. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bellwood Ustick Funeral Home.
