Joyce E. Prindle

Joyce E. (Tetrault) Prindle, 85, of Northampton, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday March 13th at the Cooley Dickinson Hospital. She was born on February 28, 1940, in Springfield, to the late Lawrence and Louise (Bushey) Tetrault. Joyce was a graduate of Commerce High School; she had various jobs throughout her life and most recently she was a cashier for Stop & Shop in Northampton before retiring in 2018. She enjoyed camping with family and friends, playing bingo, scrabble, card games, and taking many trips to the casinos, but most of she loved the time she spent with her children and family. She is survived by her loving companion of 48 years, Wesley Scott of Northampton, his daughter Debby Scott and her husband Mike O'Brien of Williamsburg, her sons, Thomas Prindle Jr. of Northampton, Darin Prindle and his partner Larry of Atlanta, GA, her daughters, Gail Bussler Solomon and her partner Tim of Florence, Lynn Elliott and her husband Dean of Northampton, Janine LaPointe and her husband Paul of Huntington, son in law, Kenneth Holhut of Hatfield, 10 grandchildren,11 great-grandchildren, her brother, Dennis Tetrault and his wife Claire of Chicopee, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Karen Holhut, whom she missed dearly, her brothers, Everett and Richard, and sister, Theresa Perusse. Calling hours will be Wednesday March 19, 2025, from 9 AM – 11 AM at the DROZDAL FUNERAL HOME OF NORTHAMPTON. A prayer service will begin at 11 AM in the Funeral Home followed by her burial in N.
