Barbara Bartholomew Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Ann Bartholomew, 57, of Frederick, passed away on May 24, 2013 at Kline Hospice House after a battle with cancer. She was the wife of Richard W. "Chuck" Bartholomew, her husband of 30 years.
Born March 27, 1956 in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred Sari. She graduated from Miami University in Ohio with a degree in home economics, and held several positions including manager of the Owosso, Michigan City Club and of Bursely Hall at the University of Michigan, teacher's aide at Career & Tech Center, and for the last ten years was a bookkeeper at Michael S. Dunham & Company CPA in Frederick. Barbara enjoyed working with the 4-H Club, sewing, quilting, and knitting.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by two children, Kellie Bartholomew, and Richard W. Bartholomew III; an older brother, Joseph Sari, Jr.; her twin brother, Robert Sari & his wife Zanne; and several nieces nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial gathering will take place at the family home (4807 Clarendon Dr., Frederick) on Saturday, June 1st from 12 – 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).

I remember Mrs. Bartholomew from back when I was in school(about 15 or so yrs ago). I beleive she was a teacher's aide or substitute. I'm really saddened to hear of her passing. She was a very nice person. Her family will be in my prayers.
