Catherine Albertson Obituary
Born on January 29, 1947, in Maine, she was the loving daughter of the late John and Marilyn (McFarland) Curran.
Cathy was the widow of Howard "Hap" Russell Albertson. They shared over 40 years of life together.
Cathy was a successful business woman, who, along with her late husband, who owned a Frederick restaurant, The Blue Fox Inn, before retiring to Pompano Beach, FL in 2004. Cathy will be remembered for her love of line dancing, young spirit, traveling adventures and her great golf game.
Surviving are four children, Sandy Gray (Jim), Danielle Randolph, Monica Lawson (Bill), Michael Albertson (Angela); two brothers, JT Curran and Hughie Curran. She was also the loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren, Brian, Ashley, Kayla, Kristina, Amber, Taylor, Ayden, Garrett, Michael, Matthew, Emma and Kaitlyn and 7 great grandchildren.
Cathy was preceded in death by one brother, Danny Curran.
A memorial service will be held from 3-5 PM, on June 2, 2018, at the Monocacy Crossing, 4424A Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD.
The family asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Alzheimer's Dementia Research Foundation.
Cathy was an extraordinary woman who will never be forgotten.
