Charles Duffy Obituary

Chuck Duffy passed away peacefully at the age of 63 on October 31st. In Frederick, Maryland, with family and friends around him. He was a natural leader who would do anything to help a friend or colleague. Chuck was a handsome and gifted athlete and an avid Orioles and Ravens fan who enjoyed golfing and fishing. He was active in many community charities and organizations, including serving as a former officer at Elks Lodge #684 and as a member of the Frederick Jaycees. An Air Force veteran and award-winning real estate agent. He found his true calling when he became a Montgomery County Correction Officer. His fellow corrections officers became his family. He is survived by his father, Dr. John C Duffy M.D., Mother Catherine Duffy, and his two brothers, Robert and John, as well as his longtime friend, Trish Croker. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Frederick Health Hospice, 1 Frederick Health Way, Frederick, MD 21701. Charles Duffy

I am honored to have had the chance to care for and meet chuck. He made me laugh while I was working even when he wasn´t feeling well. It was evident he was a light to those in his life. My heart goes out to Trish and all of those close to him.

We had good times at the Elks Lodge years ago.
Sad to see an untimely end.
