Chase Lowe Obituary
Born July 10, 2002 in Frederick, he was the son of Emily McKinney Fulkerson and husband Isaac of Westminster and Darin A. Lowe and wife Lori Barnard of Westminster.
Chase was in the 7th Grade at New Windsor Middle School, where he played the Trombone in the band. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 582 and enjoyed watching Doctor Who and Godzilla; loved to build Legos and do Origami, playing video games and loved items with "bling"
Surviving in addition to his parents and step-parents is sister Natalie Lowe and brother Brendan Lowe of Westminster; step-sisters and step-brother Eden, Lucas and Caoilfhinn Fulkerson of Westminster; grandparents Diane Lowe of Mt. Airy, Cathy and Dan McKinney of Providence Forge, VA; great grandparents B.F. McKinney and Max and Ann Reese; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by grandfather Ronnie Lowe.
A Memorial Service will be held on today, January 17 at 2 pm in St. James Episcopal Church, 1307 N. Main St., Mt. Airy. Officiating will be Fr. Bill Doggett. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends at the Church from 12 Noon until start of the service. To help celebrate his life, the family requests that everyone attending please wear something fun that Chase would enjoy.

I worked with Chase as a 3rd and 4th grader at Winfield, my son was in his grade as well. With some of the struggles he had, smiling wasn't one of them. Our goal when working together was to leave with a smile.
Smile on my friend. I think of you more that you will ever know. In the quiet of a star lite night I think of you among the twinkling stars. I hope you now know how very much you are loved.

Chase was my best friend I did not know him for long but for as long as I did he helped me and it is sad to say goodbye but we all have to. Chase... Sorry I did not go to your funeral take this as a reminder I will always remember him truly and dearly

I was Chase's first grade teacher at Winfield. I was so very sorry to hear of his passing. I remember him as a sweet boy. I'm thinking of the Lowe family during this difficult time and hope that Chase has found peace.

Dear Chase and his family,
Chase was amazing. He was not in any of my classes, but when lunch came around, he was always there. Now during lunch it feels empty. We try to stay happy but deep down in our hearts, we know that there is something missing. When we heard about Chase passing away, we had nothing to say. I couldn't keep my mind off the idea all day. We loved him. We may not have said it, but we hope it showed. Chase was a good friend, a smart student, and a great person to make cheesy jokes with at the lunch table. We all miss him dearly and hope your family is okay. May God be with you in this time of need, but know that Chase did go to heaven. I know he did. He was too kind and innocent to do any harm to anyone. Fly high Chase.

Dear Chase's family, I went to school with Chase, we were both in 7 grade. I am so sorry for your loss. You never realize how much someone has touched your life until they are gone. Every time I saw Chase he always had a smile on his face. He seemed like the most cheerful person at school. Dear chase and his family,
I'm very sorry for your loss. I went to school with chase and we where both in 7th grade but we didn't have any classes together and we never really talked. He seemed fun to hang out with and alwase looked happy. I hope you guys can get though this and any other problems you have in life. You all are in my prayers! Every one at new Windsor middle is very supportive. A lot of people wore the color black on January 15, 2015 for chase. I wish I coud do something to turn this around... Chase was an amazing person.
