Daniel Labus Obituary

Mr. Daniel T. Labus, 40, of Littleton, Colo., where he moved a year ago after living in Frederick for several years, died suddenly Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Swedish Hospital, Englewood, Colo.

Twice married, he was the husband of Christi Wolsen Labus of Littleton.

Born July 7, 1958, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., he was the son of Sophie Sioda Labus of Niagara Falls and the late Edward M. Labus, who died Sept. 29, 1996.

He was a sports enthusiast, and an avid hockey and softball player.

He graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1976, and attended Niagara County Community College.

He worked as a salesman for Masterserv and the Great Indoors.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are former wife, Kathy Labus of Niagara Falls; one son, Christopher Labus of Niagara Falls; two brothers, Edward J. Labus of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Robert M. Labus of Grand Island, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Labuda Funeral Home, 356 Portage Road, Niagara Falls.

Prayers will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 1419 Falls St., Lewiston, N.Y., with Bishop Edward M. Grosz officiating.

Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Revitalization Fund, Lewiston.
