David Potter Obituary

Mr. David Lee Potter Sr., 48, of Hanover, Pa., formerly of Yarrowsburg, died Thursday, Dec. 25, at Colonial Manor, York, Pa.

Born Oct. 22, 1955, in Texas, he was the son of the late Norman L. Potter Sr. and Elaine Virts Love.

He worked for United Block Corp., Urbana.

He was a Lutheran.

He is survived by four sons, David Lee Wilke and wife Amy of Martinsburg, W.Va., Jason R. Potter of Chambersburg, Pa., David W. Potter of Hanover, Pa., and Brian A. Potter of Fayetteville, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Melinda Mercado of York, and Rachel Minor of New Oxford, Pa.; two sisters, Norma E. Smith of Gapland, and Nancy E. Anders of Kansas City, Kan.; one brother, Norman L. Potter Jr. of Kansas City; and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, at John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29. The Rev. Kimberly Wetzel will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 839 Quince Orchard Blvd., Suite E, Gaithersburg, Md. 20878; or American Diabetes Association, 3120 Lord Baltimore Drive, #106, Baltimore, Md. 21244.
