John Brady Obituary
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Gyda Olesen (William 'Bill' Jenkins), father John Copsey Brady (Shirley Brady Mather) and brother Dale Edward Brady. He is survived by his siblings: Ruth Elaine Wright (Ed Alberstadt), Karl Seymour Brady (Stephanie), Joan Copsey Brady, and Sister-in-law Victoria Dennis Brady.
Rick had many passions in his life, philately, numismatics, genealogy, and most of all, his family. Rick is survived by his wife Nancy of 48 years, son Michael Richard (Crystal), son John Patrick, son Christian Thomas, and four grandchildren that he adored, Zachary, Kylee, Caroline, and John Ronan. In addition, he was Uncle Rick to many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Rick's honor on Sunday, March 2nd from 2p - 5p, at Brewers Alley in Frederick. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Rick's name to the Martinsburg VA Medical Center (https://www.va.gov/martinsburg-health-care/work-with-us/volunteer-or-donate/#donations). Ricky was an awesome guy! We went to school together from junior high through graduating in 1965. We did go steady as they say while attending Broome JrHi. We remained friends through our adult years via reunions and occasional school gatherings. I send my heartfelt condolences to his family. He will be missed by all. Rest easy my friend.
