Kenneth Herr

Mr. Kenneth Eugene Herr, 60, of 10 Ford Ave., Boonsboro, died Friday, June 29, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.

He was the husband of Annalee Leggett Herr, whom he married Sept. 1, 1962.

Born Jan. 10, 1941, in Boonsboro, he was a son of John Luther Herr of Boonsboro, and the late Ethel Mae Ebersole Herr.

Mr. Herr was a 1959 graduate of Boonsboro High School.

He was previously employed as a surveyor for F. Siebert in Potomac, was a mail carrier in Boonsboro, and was employed at Mack Truck Inc. for over 31 years.

Mr. Herr was a member of Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, Boonsboro, where he was on the consistory and the board of directors for Boonsboro Cemetery.

He was a member of Boonsboro Volunteer Fire Co., United Auto Workers Union, and Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 2435.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Sherrie A. Herr and Janell L. Rowe, both of Boonsboro, and Kellie Jo Blough of Greencastle, Pa.; one sister, Synthia K. Shaw of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two granddaughters; and two grandsons.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, at Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, 33 Potomac St., Boonsboro, with the Rev. Stephon R. Reed and the Rev. Robert Welty officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, 33 Potomac St., Boonsboro, Md. 21713.
